Be Part of DRD’s Community

Studies have shown that physical fitness makes a direct and positive impact on a person’s mental health. Donating to Detroit Roller Derby provides accessibility to the sport of roller derby for women, girls, and gender expansive identities in our community. Your donation further creates an inclusive and supportive community for athletes, volunteers and fans of the sport and enhances the lives of many people.

How We Intend to Grow

Looking into the future of Roller Derby and the future of Detroit, we would like to expand our reach into the Detroit community. Specifically, we plan to recruit more youth and remove as many accessibility barriers to our sport as possible. To achieve this goal, we need organizational capacity to get this program functioning.
