Two of Michigan's Top Ranked Roller Derby Leagues Embark on New Track Tradition

You don't want to miss out on Detroit Roller Derby's (DRD) June double header. Two of the top ranked leagues in the state will face off in what's sure to be a nail biter with non stop action from the second the whistle blows. The Detroit Allstars A and B teams will take on the Ann Arbor Brawlstars and Bruising Company in the first ever "Battle for the Dime Martini." The teams have put in countless hours of training in hopes of taking home the Dime Martini Trophy.

And it's going to be a black out! Detroit Roller Derby is asking its fans to wear black in support of the Allstars, who will also be donning their black jerseys for maximum effect. The game is set for Saturday, June 10th in the drill hall of Detroit's Masonic Temple. A historic back drop for a history making match-up that's sure to become a tradition.

Tickets are currently on sale at for $15. Kids 12 and under are free with a paying adult. You can also buy them at the door the day of the game for $18. Doors open at 5pm. The first game will begin at 6pm.
